I'm so glad you like it, Leslie! :)

The two tasted very different to me and I really preferred the lemon one to the lime. It just had a strange taste tome from the start.

Sorry, Crystal, but I discriminate against the "American" versions of certain ethnic products; they tend to be much saltier and blander than the actual Japanese product with the label you can't read, lol. By the way, I swear I've seen that ponzu sauce in one of the Oahu supermarkets.

Thanks for the review. I'm going to give it a try. Here in Texas we use a lot of lime in cooking. I may try it in my fajhita marinade.

First of all, let me say, "WOW! Great prizes for the 12 Days of Bento! Thanks!!" I came in tonight, after having been visiting a friend in the hospital for the afternoon, and found a small package on the table. I was thrilled with the contents! The bow/crown/top hat picks are so adorable! I'm going to have to make something tomorrow to use them on. I'm thinking quail eggs... we'll see. The Hana Ebi is a real treat! I have never seen any in "real life." I can't wait to use it for Valentines. I know I will be making several V-day lunches this week, I wonder if I can find a different way to use it each time? This is so exciting!

Second, the Ponzu Lime Sauce. This review is very interesting to me. I have used regular Ponzu with lemon, but I'm not sure I would be able to distinguish the new lime Ponzu from the lemon. Both are citrus, and I, sadly, do not have your culinary talent for Shoyu. I'm going to have to buy some of the new to see if I can taste a difference. I don't think I would have tried it with the eggplant either... to me, lime and eggplant just don't seem like two flavors that should go together. I can't wait to hear what you think of it with steak.

Thanks again for the gifts! They are awesome!
