Hm, true that. I’ve tried to make red glazing before, and no matter how much red dye I put in, it just turns a hot pink :P

I add pink vinegar powder to the rice, which flavors it with ume. So far pink is the only color I’ve seen.

I agree, especially pink! Though, since rice is white, you usually have to add more coloring than you think.
