Video: How to Make a Jack-o-Lantern Persimmon

Last year, I made a Vampire Bat Sandwich bento that had two little jack-o-lanterns made out of persimmons. This year, I’ve made a how-to video for you folks to see how easy it is to make these for a bento.

The tutorial is slightly different in that I peeled the persimmon because when I ate the jacks last year, I didn’t like the skin being on it. Also, instead of leaving the stem on, I added a pick as a leaf to make it totally ready to eat! Hope you enjoy!

Many thanks to Baby Girl for being my narrator! She did a great job, though I should have warned Buddy about what we were doing so he wouldn’t come in and start asking tons of questions and begin bulldozing my persimmon peelings!
